iBraces - Invisible customised Lingual braces

iBraces are a new generation of orthodontic braces for teens and adults. They are the only 100% customized invisible fixed braces available on the market today. Because no two people are alike, no two sets of iBraces are alike.

iBraces are 100% Customized

iBraces are placed behind your teeth so no one will know that you are wearing braces unless you tell them. These unique braces are created using state-of-the-art technology and are 100% customized to the shape of your teeth and to your dental situation. iBraces have the unique prescription that your orthodontist creates for you built-in to ensure you get the results that you want. With iBraces you get efficient, effective tooth movement and great aesthetics.

Almost anyone can wear iBraces

iBraces have been used to treat men and women ranging from the age of 13 to 60+. Most people who can be treated with regular braces can be treated with iBraces, but only your orthodontist can tell you if iBraces are the right treatment option for you.

Who wears iBraces?

  • People who want to avoid damage to the front surfaces of their teeth
  • People who are concerned about wearing braces that show
  • Adult professionals
  • Musicians who play wind instruments
  • Adults and teens playing contact sports

The patented iBrackets® are 100% customized and moulded to fit to each specific tooth shape. Not only are they hidden from view, but they are designed according to your unique tooth anatomy to be as comfortable as possible. The iWires, fabricated using innovative robotic technologies, are made to precisely move your teeth as efficiently as possible according to your dentist's or orthodontist's prescription.

Preparing your case

Your orthodontist will take a very precise impression of your teeth, which will be used to cast models for fabricating custom brackets and wires. Your orthodontist will then send the impression along with his or her prescription to the iBraces lab.

Approximately six weeks after your impressions are taken your iBraces will arrive at your orthodontist's office. Your orthodontist will use a very precise process for preparing your teeth and putting on your new braces. After your braces are on you will need to return for monitoring and progress appointments until it is decided that your treatment is complete.

Who can wear iBraces?

Most adults and adolescents who have their permanent teeth should be able to wear iBraces. However consulting your orthodontist or dentist is the best way to find out if iBraces are right for you.

What do iBraces look like?

iBraces have a unique design and fit. The bracket bases are contoured to hug the lingual (or tongue-side) surfaces of your teeth for optimal comfort, fit and performance. iBraces have a very low profile so they are less likely to interfere with your speech. The special iWires® are precisely programmed with your unique prescription to ensure efficient, effective tooth movement.

What makes iBraces so different?

iBraces are 100% customized to deliver specific results for each patient. Your orthodontits determines your prescription and then your iBraces are custom made just for you. They use the latest CAD/CAM, rapid prototyping and robotic technologies to fabricate each iBrackets® and iWire® with your unique prescription.

Does it take longer to finish treatment with iBraces?

Many patients finish treatment faster with iBraces, however each patient is different and only your orthodontist can accurately predict how long your treatment will take.

Will iBraces cost more than regular braces?

Most doctors charge more for iBraces than traditional braces because they must pay a higher laboratory fee to Lingualcare. The price of iBraces will vary by doctor but you can expect to pay 30% to 50% more than traditional braces.
